Eleven Tri-county families will graduate from the evidence-based Strengthening Families Program (SFP) on Monday, December 8, 2014 in North Charleston, SC. Hosted by FamilyCorps, the Strengthening Families Program is a 14 week curriculum class designed to significantly reduce problem behaviors, alcohol and drug abuse in children and adults and improve social competencies, school performance, and family life skills.
ceremonies will take place at Cherokee Place United Methodist Church Annex
Building and will include performances by some of the child participants, guest
speaker Margaret Cochran, FamilyCorps’ Vice President of the Board of Directors
and longtime Parent Advocate for Charleston County
